Having previewed the "Free"VS on Saturday night, I was ready this morning to hit CVS as soon as I had Troy up and ready to go. A sneak peak from Baby Cheapskate already had me planning a trip for Huggies, but since the great Halloween deals were only on Sunday and Monday, I moved the trip up to this morning.
Here's my trip:
2 Pumpkin Pails - $0.99 each with $1.98 (combined) ECB = like FREE
2 Bags of Candy Corn - $1.29 each with $2.58 (combined) ECB = like FREE
2 Lite Sticks - $0.99 each with $1.98 (combined) ECB = Like FREE
2 Huggies Jumbo - $9.99 each minus $1.50 off each coupon = $8.49 each
1 Huggies Wipes - $2.79 minus $0.50 off coupon = $2.29
1 Q-tip 375 ct - $2.49 minus $0.30 off coupon = $2.19
Above items counted toward $10 in ECB when I spent $25
Kleenex w/Lotion - $0.89 each ($1.50 off their regular price). There was no limit, so I stocked up on several of these.
Buying the sales items and using coupons equaled $17.80 in savings. I also used $6 in ECB I had from previous trips. In all, I paid $30.07, saved $23.80, and earned $16.54 in ECB for a future trip. Productive trip.
I also made a grocery run to Meijer. I paid $89.90 and Saved $51.85 (37% Savings). Yesterday I found Home Depot bubble mailers on clearance for $0.50 for a 3-pack. All in all, a great savings weekend. I'll have to update my side bar soon.
