Now that I have my other site to write financial ramblings (although I haven't written much lately), I'm going to use this site to do more life stuff. Today I need a plan and this is probably the best place for me to work out that plan. I'll be writing a post soon on our decision to downsize. Trying to get the house ready to go on the market is a lot of work, but it feels good to be productive. Here's the plan for the next 2 days:
*
Get rid of dresser on Craig's List
*
Find someone to install carpet - Do we install the remnant, order new, or give credit??? Can't decide.
* Finish organizing basement
*
Move carpet out of Troy's room to make way for new carpet
*
Fix closet doors in Troy's room & organize
*
Rehang shower curtain in kids bath & declutter
*
Quick pick up in Addison's Room
* Declutter & organize master closet
*
Quick pick up in master bedroom
* Clean bathrooms - master,
kids,
half
*
Empty cabinet in dining room (move downstairs)
*
Set up/organize table
*
Declutter dining room
*
Quick clean/declutter living room
*
Quick clean in kitchen (already decluttered)
*
Quick clean in family room (already decluttered)
* Finish basement
* Laundry
* Switch seasons in closets and store summer stuff
* Sort kids clothes and give away what they've outgrown
* Sort pantry
* Deposit checks
So much time and so little to do. Strike that. Reverse it!
