Wow! I can't believe it's been over a month since I've posted here. I've been working on a couple VERY time consuming projects. While one of them is still very hush-hush (although, stay tuned because it will be coming soon), the other has been the bigger challenge. A few months ago I connected with a very new chapter of an international not-for-profit -- Fuller Center for Housing. From the same creator of Habitat for Humanity, this is an organization that really highlights a lot of my beliefs and passions.
The local organization is still developing, getting in to its rhythm, and finding its way. It has taken a lot of time, but I know it will be well worth it. I really wish I could find more time to devote to getting things off and running because I strongly believe in their mission. I sort of feel like I'm trying to cram a full time job in to a few hours a week. I hate doing things less than 100%, but keep trying to remind myself that it's more help than they have had in the past.
It wouldn't be so hard if I didn't have my hands in a couple other things at the same time. I'm hoping the bulk of the work on at least one of those projects is mostly behind me. I'm not sure what it will mean for my time to blog, but I at least wanted to let you all (all 2-3 of you, LOL!) that I'm still around!
